What We Believe

Representing God To The Lost

We Believe:

There is but ONE living, true, and everlasting God, the Creator and Preserver of all things both visible and invisible. And, in unity of the God-Head, there are three persons of one substance, power, and eternity—FATHER, SON, and HOLY GHOST!

The SON, Word of the FATHER, JESUS the CHRIST

was conceived by the Holy Ghost, was born of a virgin, truly suffered and was crucified, dead and buried, according to the scriptures. Christ did truly rise again from the dead, ascended into Heaven to the right hand of the Father and from there He shall return to earth to judge the living and the dead. His vicarious and atoning death was a full, perfect, and sufficient sacrifice to reconcile the Father to us, and there is salvation in no other, except Jesus the Christ.

THE HOLY GHOST

proceeding from the Father and the Son, is of one substance, majesty and glory with the Father and the Son. He is essential for salvation. His indwelling enables us to live holy, and baptism in the Holy Ghost is given to believers who ask for it.

THE BIBLE

is the inspired and authoritative written Word of God, and contains everything necessary for salvation. Therefore whatever is not contained therein, nor may be proved thereby, is not to be required of any person as necessary for salvation.

BAPTISM

is not only an outward profession and mark that distinguishes Christians from others who are not baptized, but it is a sign of an inward procession, regeneration, the new birth.

THE SUPPER OF THE LORD

is a sign of the love that Christians have among themselves, and most importantly, a sacrament of our redemption by Christ death; Insomuch that the bread which we break is a partaking of the body of Christ. And likewise the cup of blessing is a partaking of the blood of Christ

THE BODY OF CHRIST

is given, taken, and eaten only after a spiritual manner, and the means whereby the body and blood of Christ is received, is by faith.
